For this Academic Year, the GRC will take place on
February 19th-20th, 2014
MUB Ballroom, 10am-5pm
Each spring, GSG sponsors the Graduate Research Colloquium Poster & Presentation Competition. The colloquium is a unique opportunity to share your research with the university community and to gain experience in presenting that research to colleagues.
The competition is open to all graduate students from all departments and faculties. Students may choose to either present their research in a talk, or create a poster detailing their research. Both posters and presentations are judged by Michigan Tech faculty predefined rubrics. The evaluation sheets will be provided to presenters with their schedule of talk about a month before the colloquium
Cash prizes are awarded for first, second, and third place in both the poster and presentation categories:
1st Place — $300
2nd Place — $200
3rd Place — $100
This year we are using an online abstract submission process. The deadline for submitting a poster or presentation abstract is November 22nd, 2013 at 11:59pm (23:59).
Format your abstract strictly according to the instructions provided in the submission link that will be provided. For more information on submitting a proposal, contact the Academic Chair.
